Hi James thanks for the comment. Please can you email me at patrick@relationshipofsales.com as I need your email and LInkedIn profile to get the account created 🙌
“You build a list, personalise your message”. — that’s fake “personalization”. Iʼm so sick of it. I report and block such people. Not just “I don’t know this person”, but really block and report for spam. No connection message is better than “Oh, you so great at cybersecurity, let’s have a quick call” or “Your website is so great that I want to connect and share insights about mobile app development ”.
Or, my recent favorite: “It was nice to chat briefly with you at Cloudfest, let’s stay in touch here”. (I registered but had to skip this year).
Don’t have 2 minutes to research me? Swipe left, I don’t want to connect with you.
Hey Maksym thanks for your passionate input. To confirm I am just describing what ulinc.co does as a tool which automates the process of connecting with their your audience. I also don't recommend to add a personalisation message but instead find a highly targeted audience that you can support, don't add a connection note and then once they connect leave a voice note to introduce yourself and build a genuine relationship.
I would advise to read my other article on why it is so important to find your target audience and it seems to allign more with your preferences and frustrations:
Hey Makysm trying to make the interaction as personal as possible is key. I prefer audio notes as video can sometimes be a bit too much for a stranger to receive but if done correctly can also work very well.
I will be making a lot of content soon about Audio and Video messages and appreciate your input

A list. OR a real personalization.

Love the voice note idea! I did dozen of videos, one landed a small contract. I would love to read your article on formats other than text.
